Overview

The Vice President – Analytics position will be responsible for customer analytics, which provides a 360-degree view of InstaMed’s customers and prospects. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for data and demonstrate the ability to create systems and processes that improve overall data operations. We are searching for a candidate who is motivated and excited by the opportunities that exist in the world of data surrounding healthcare payments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer analytics function at InstaMed, including data integration, customer segmentation, network adoption, research and insights
  • Heavily support InstaMed’s data systems integration with JPMorgan, serving at times as a single point of contact for various projects
  • Foster an agile approach to analytics, leveraging best practices of design thinking such as rapid prototyping allowing for fast innovation and automation
  • Manage and mentor analytics team members
  • Any other duties as applicable to the position

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, marketing or product management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or other quantitative discipline. (Advanced degrees welcome!)
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce.com and its Business Intelligence platform, Einstein Analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data analysis tools
  • Experience summarizing complex information in a concise and convincing way to "tell a story" with data that drives toward the desired result
  • Ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in data
  • Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with all levels of management and partners
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, work smarter, keep numerous tasks on track and delegate where appropriate
  • Strong project management and project planning skills with a knack for getting cross-functional teams to work together while still maintaining process, controls and documentation
  • Experience working on complex data systems integrations a strong plus
