    JOB SUMMARY: The Contracting Manager is responsible for oversight of Contracting’s Document Verification team which helps preserve the data integrity of the InstaMed Network. This individual must coach, mentor, and train team members as well as manage daily operations and performance. The Contracting Manager will need to master InstaMed’s standard operating procedures to effectively educate team members to complete non-standard enrollments or tasks as well as identify, assess, and resolve complex issues or escalations. Effective internal communication and teamwork is required as well as attention to detail, disciplined practices, and ability to absorb and maintain knowledge of internal processes and requirements.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Master departmental procedural processes and analyze information to determine best course of action, while upholding compliance and business requirements
    • Manage day-to-day operations and productivity to meet SLAs and improve performance
    • Identify and communicate issues or updates to managerial team, team members, internal departments, and external MSP contacts effectively, retaining positive relationships
    • Conduct regular meetings with team members to deliver feedback, develop relationships, and provide mentorship to cultivate individuals’ professionalism, talent, and growth
    • Maintain departmental education and onboard new hires
    • Lead team members to ensure KYC standards are kept and maintain or improve upon practices which prevent potential error
    • Analyze team metrics and processes to determine areas of improvement and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and customer experience where necessary
    • Create documentation as needed and update current documentation to account for changes to internal policies, requirements, and processes
    • Investigate open issues using available resources and collaborate with internal stakeholders to bring to resolution
    • Adhere to any company policy and direct team members as required
    • Conduct managerial administrative activities and any other duties applicable to the position
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position
       

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • Experience managing operational processes and people
    • Experience with SalesForce and knowledge of healthcare billing and/or merchant services is preferred
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and organizational skills
