    JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Director, Business Development will oversee a team of outside sales executives (5-7) who are responsible for contributing to quarterly and annual new business bookings targets. The position is responsible for day-to-day management, coaching, development and sales support for a region of the Ambulatory Healthcare Provider Sales team (Tier 2). The candidate must have a demonstrated history of driving a well-defined and rigorous sales process in a team lead or sales management position. The ideal candidate will have experience in new business sales in healthcare. Day-to-day activities will include 1:1 coaching, support of product demonstrations, team pipeline management and reporting on KPIs and OKRs to the Senior Director of Business Development. The Regional Director will also act as a liaison with other key departments to engage resources in support of the team as needed (Solution Engineering, Sales Operations, Marketing, Professional Services, Account Management, Product Management and Marketing).

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Develop and manage the regional sales team to support the quarterly and annual revenue plan
    • Hold weekly 1:1s with each team member for coaching and pipeline management
    • Coordinate with sales trainer for new employee on-boarding and on-going team training and development activities
    • Determine appropriate regional trade show attendance for region team members
    • Assist sales executives with strategic territory account planning
    • Support software demonstrations
    • Review team member presentations and proposals
    • Support continuous process improvement initiatives around sales operations
    • Regular interaction with Solution Engineering, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Professional Services and Account Management departments of InstaMed
    • Analyze and report on daily and monthly activity and revenue data including but not limited to key KPI metrics and accurate bookings forecasts.
    • Maintain accurate and timely administrative responsibilities relevant to the position
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures for proper execution of compliance, training and regulatory duties
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position

       

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales management or team lead role in healthcare sales
    • Excellent people management skills
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Expertise in all aspects of Microsoft Office
    • Proficiency in Salesforce
    • Preferably has experience with a robust set of sales technology tools including Sales Engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, etc.)
    • Healthcare revenue cycle industry experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
