    JOB SUMMARY: InstaMed is looking for self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented candidates who want to excel and learn in an open, professional, and team-oriented environment. The Sales Development Representative is a sales professional who strategically hunts and qualifies new business opportunities for InstaMed Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, persistent and comfortable calling prospects who have limited awareness of InstaMed. This candidate should have a keen understanding of the healthcare landscape and be able to articulate technical terms and quantitative value propositions. The Sales Development Representative will be assigned a region and a number of target accounts to engage and qualify for demonstrations with the paired Sales Executives on their team. The Sales Development Representative will be compensated for all demonstrations sourced and receive commission for those that become InstaMed customers.



    Essential Functions:

    • Sourcing new sales opportunities through highly targeted and strategic outbound calls and emails
    • Coordinating virtual demonstrations with Sales Executives
    • Preparing, coordinating and conducting outlined discovery calls
    • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate department for further development and closure
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position


    • 1-2 years in an inside sales role making a high volume of cold calls & emails
    • Highly self-motivated and persistent with a strong desire to succeed
    • Comfortable calling prospects who have limited awareness of InstaMed
    • Skilled with researching targeted prospects online and tailoring quantitative value propositions to anticipate and meet their needs
    • Ability to comprehend and explain InstaMed’s product line and research to prospects
    • Comfortability engaging CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, physicians and other executives in sales discussions
    • Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally
    • Experience in lead nurturing, lead generation, and appointment setting
    • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous and motivated, and must work well individually or as a member of a team
    • Experience with Salesforce or related CRMs
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
    • Organized and attentive to detail
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in related field
