    JOB SUMMARY: The Application Operations Analyst I is responsible for monitoring the day to day performance of the InstaMed application, which is a hosted, SaaS application that is highly available and mission critical.  All duties involve Business as Usual (BAU) application operations, post testing and deployment to production, for activated/fully implemented InstaMed accounts. 


    Essential Functions:

    • Monitoring of payment and healthcare transaction processing
    • Escalation point for issues escalated by Customer Service
    • Monitor and research processing exceptions and escalate if applicable
    • Execute account provisioning related tasks
    • Monitor all production application components to ensure high availability and meet or exceed customer Service Level Agreements  
    • Adhere to Operations Level Agreements (OLA) in support of end-to-end customer Service Level Agreement (SLA)
    • Maintaining relationships with key/strategic partners/customers
    • Identify opportunities for process, systems and application improvements in a dynamic environment architected to solve problems in the healthcare industry
    • Ad hoc SQL reporting
    • Mandatory rotating on-call availability
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position


    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
    • System Integration and Support
    • Database and data modeling exposure
    • SQL server experience required
    • Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
    • Service Management (e.g. ITIL)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • Hardware and software troubleshooting experience required
    • Web technologies (e.g. browsers) experience required
    • Knowledge of healthcare billing and management applications a plus
    • BizTalk experience a plus
    • EDI experience a plus
    • Sound judgment in setting customer expectations and managing sensitive customer situations
