    JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Sales Trainer will report directly to the head of Sales Operations and will be responsible for maximizing sales representative effectiveness by determining and solving training needs from the Philadelphia office.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Create on-boarding program for each sales team
    • Create and maintain training documentation
    • Determine training needs by traveling with sales representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers and plan for remediation
    • Drive Consistent Sales Messaging Across Teams
    • Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
    • Create cadence of internal sales presentation trainings (i.e. "batting practice") with peer reviews
    • Ensure proper execution and utilization of eLearning and onsite coaching tools (currently Factor8)
    • Support product launches by preparing and enabling the sales force to understand and sell our solutions
    • Partner with Product Marketing and Marketing to generate sales assets and materials to facilitate the sales process
    • Train sales team on best use of marketing and sales enablement materials
    • Manage the sales enablement content repository (Knowledge) and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need
    • Improve individual rep’s performance by providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
    • Support training-related financial objectives by recommending budget items; controlling costs.
    • Continually improve subject-matter expertise by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • This is a national position; some travel is expected (< 20%)
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position
       

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Training & Development certification preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of training or performance management supporting an enterprise sales organization
    • Ability to train, motivate, coach, and provide feedback to instill self-confidence and improve sales effectiveness             
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office is preferred
    • Healthcare revenue cycle industry experience a plus
    • Payments industry experience is a plus
