    JOB SUMMARY: InstaMed is looking for self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented candidates who want to excel and learn in an open, professional, and team-oriented environment. Individuals in this position will be responsible for supporting business development activities which contribute to the achievement of the annual revenue plan.  The position is responsible for identifying, contacting and setting-up meetings, demonstrations that lead to contracting with Health Plans.  Day-to-day activities will entail follow-up to website inquiries, overseeing focused email campaigns, making outbound phone-calls to prospects to set-up calls, demonstrations and on-site meetings with targeted health plan executives and staff.  

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

     

    Account Facing

    • This is a hunter-oriented lead-development role supporting the Payer Business Develop Team
    • Developing new sales opportunities through highly targeted and strategic outbound calls and email campaigns; target 25 outbound phone calls per day.
    • Preparing, coordinating and conducting discovery calls
    • Consultatively determine optimal next steps for prospective accounts
    • Coordinating on-line demonstrations with assigned Sales Executives
    • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate department for further development and closure
    • Introduce best practices associated with use of InstaMed Services
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position

     

    Internal

    • Identify prospective sales targets within Payer market segments
    • Regular interaction with Marketing, Product Management and Professional Services departments of InstaMed
    • Maintain accurate and timely administrative responsibilities relevant to the position
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures for proper execution of compliance, training and regulatory duties
    • Any other duties as applicable to the position

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in a sales role
    • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships with customers
    • Ability to quickly learn and understand InstaMed’s solution suite and articulate our value proposition
    • Excellent organizational skills in daily calling activities and follow-ups
    • Healthcare technology experience preferred
    • Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus
